Which will you choose between a regular job or a carrer in music?

I mean, what would you encourage me to do? To get a job in other domains, or to try and make my living as a guitarist, working my *** off every day, because I can do that, there's no problem. I could play guitar even 11 hours a day, still no problem. So, what do you encourage me to do, and why?

Hi, I don't exactly have an answer to your question. I have a similar question. I'm thinking of chosing a career in art, and I'd work at it as hard as you would, but the only answers I've gotten to my question are two people acting as robots posting some stupid website as an answer to everybody's questions. They probably get a profit out of it or something. I noticed one of them was your first answerer. Anyway, I'm looking for this website that I KNOW exists where you can talk to people with any career and ask them what it's like. For example, you could talk to a successful guitarist or performer or something like that and ask him if it would be possible for you, how and so on. I haven't found this website yet but I thought I'd suggest you look for it too, because it might help. I wish I could remember the address..! Anyway, hope this helps the slightest bit. Good luck! |
