Which job offer should I accept?

I received a job offer from Radioshack and then a week later I got hired at Best Buy. I haven't started working at either yet because I am still employed at another place but I am leaving there. Just haven't given my 2 week notice yet. For some reason Radioshack hasn't told me what the hourly salary is (even though I asked) , just that it is hourly + commission. Best Buy gave me a pretty good salary BUT he hired me to start off as seasonal and says if a do a good job selling he will hire me in permanently. I have no idea which job offer to accept!

Yeah defiantly Best Buy. I work there and its a good place to work. Its so easy to sell because Best Buy is the leading stores in electronics. So go to best buy cuz they actually told you your salary |

Well I work at Radioshack and as a sales associate you make minimum wage, I would say go with Best Buy. Even though Radioshack has a thing called SPIFF which is your commission, it doesn't come out to much, well at least at my store it doesn't. Not many people really even remember Radioshack is still open so a lot of the stores are pretty empty, if there aren't many people in the store you cant sell much and therefore you cant make all that much off commission. I would say if you were going to get a job at a mall Radioshack that has a lot of foot traffic i wouldn't be that bad but if not you will be pretty much stuck with minimum wage and little to no opportunity for advancement. Just out of curiousity what is Best Buys pay? |
