Which internship should i take?

I have two internships, but im torn as to which offer i should take. My major is Environmental Science.
The first is for the department of environmental protection. It is unpaid, but I would be getting a lot of experience in a subject that really interests me. It is related to my major and things I have been learning about, the hours are flexible, and it sounds good other than not being paid.
The other is for the hazmat division of the department of transportation. Unlike the other one, this internship is paid, full time, and they are looking to hire the interns full time after graduation. However, the things i would be doing dont necessarily pertain to my major as much as the other, although it does somewhat.
Which should i take? I dont know if I want a full time job at the second place, but a job is a job, and i need to grow up and get one eventually. However, should i go out on a limb and take the unpaid one that is interesting and hope that it helps me get a job later on?
