Where will meticulous and detailed work be appreciated? Corporation or small company?

I am wondering about these two. I have experienced 2 kinds of people: organized and disorganized.

What amazed me, that often disorganized people get more rewards because they are seen to "fix problems" in contrary to organized people who prevented problems from happening and are seen as "lazy bastards who don't do nothing".

I am wondering where would organized people have more value, in a corporation or a small company? I understand in a corporation, there are other factor like networking with the "right" people and in a small company they don't really know what you do.

So which one is better?

In large Corporations you become a part of their System. Any innovation is difficult to get through. However, in large Corporations you learn a lot about working in an organized system. My suggestion is that you work for a while in a large organization, gain experience in their system and then switch to a small company where your organized work will be appreciated and you will have lot of room for improvements in the Company System
