Where else can I get a work permit?

Okay so I'm a minor, although pretty close to being legal. During the school year, students could get legitimate work permits so that they could work during the summer and such, however as of right now, my school is closed down because of summer vacation. I'm thinking about applying to a couple of jobs and I just want to know, in case I get hired, where else I can get a work permit. I live in Southern California. Thank you :)

The legal working age is 14. you can work up to 3 hours a day during school hours and 18 hours a week. and when out of school (breaks) you can work up to 8 hours a day and 40 a week. however if the job has saws ladders or anything that can seriously harm you, legally you can't work there. and if in rhode island you can be a stripper at 16 you shouldn't have a problem trying to work at subway. you don't need a work permit unless your an immigrant. |
