Where do I find a non-customer service job?

I currently am employed with a call center for pizza delivery. Over the past two years it has sucked all the life out of me. I am losing my faith in humanity in general and need to get out of customer service before I become a shut in recluse!

I have medical problems that prevent me from going into the trades and I am an efficient typer, but not fast enough for data entry...so those two things I can't but what else is there out there?

Please help me out in giving me some ideas to search for!

Try looking into jobs like security or try to train for another career such as a admin assistant or a billing. A lot of jobs require some form of customer service; however, the best you can do is have minimum contact. When I say train for another career, some jobs like engine repair or heavy machine operating has very little "customer service" interactions. Try your local ESC and see if they can help you find a job that's more fulfilling and less frustrating.

I hear you... been there done that. I would start visiting websites like: Hot Jobs (Yahoo), Career Builder, Monster and your states job board. See what is available, what interests you and what you are qualified for and start applying.
