Well, I'm fourteen right now, but this July I'll be fifteen, and I expect to get a job soon. At least I want to. I desperately need one to help my family.
I know most stores and restaurants don't hire under sixteen, but I can't wait another year... I know Target, Chick-Fil-A, Chipotle, and I think Wendy's don't hire unless you're above sixteen.
I know how to get the work permit and everything but I just don't know good places to work. I've looked on the internet, gone on these random job-finding websites, but they all end in the same thing: I'm too young.
I'd probably just work during the summer and after school.
If anyone answers this, thank you. I know I look lazy and dependent on everyone else. I just don't know.

Well you won't be able to work at a restaurant because you can't handle alcohol, and most retail stores won't hire people under 17. I'm 15 and recently got a job working for an ice cream store because there isn't an age limit in ice cream. You can also try life guarding, but most clubs won't hire kids under 16. I recommend working for either an ice cream store or some other local store because big name stores don't usually hire kids. Grocery stores are also good because they hire bag boys at a young age. |
