Without any specifics I'm going to say that most likely it is something that you are or are not doing correctly. The market is tough but not impossible. I have been looking for just under 2 months and I have recently gotten 2 job offers and I have interviews this week for another job. I have been spending a lot of time writing my coverletters and tailoring my resume to the specific job. I have also been following up with HR and management which has gotten me interviews. I spend a lot of time preparing for the interviews by learning about the company and thinking about how I can sell myself according to the job description that they have put out. I then take the notes from my interview and write thank you letters further selling that I am the best candidate for the job. I then follow up with them at the times that they specify that when the next step in the hiring process is. If you aren't doing all of these things in this job market then you are probably getting jumped over by someone who is. This is an employers job market and you have to take the iniative more not than you would in a different economy. Good luck.
