If you are thirsty, say yes. Anything that makes you more comfortable for the interview you should do. Its not a trick. They are just trying to help you be comfortable and are trying to make a good impression themselves (just in case they want to hire you). |

Drink a little before so you aren't thirsty and then say no because it will be awkward in the interview when they ask you a question in the middle of you taking a drink. |

Hi, I've loads of experience in interviews and meetings and the rule is: Accept the drink if offered by a receptionist or someone before your interview, if you're going to be waiting, but don't take it in to the interview with you. If they then ask you if you've been looked after, you can say yes, thank you. But if the interview is about to start, it can be awkward waiting for a drink, so decline, saying "I'm fine thanks, I just had one". Also, you would otherwise have a drink in your hands and this would cramp your style during an interview. Of course, if the interviewer insists, it is impolite to decline more than once. Hope this helps. |

Are you thirsty? If so, say "Yes please, I'd love something if it's no trouble?" When they return with it, thank them and sip politely but no while either of them or you are speaking. At the end of the interview, give them the empty glass back and say "Thank you very much, that was refreshing." If you're not thirsty, just say "No thank you, but I appreciate it" |

It's not a trick question, they're just asking if you'd like something to drink and trying to make you feel more comfortable. Say please and thank you whether you decide to have a drink or no. Lol |
