When i hand in my job application...?

Do i ask to speak to the hiring manager? or just hand it in to the front desk? or if he's not there, should i slip it under his office door? silly questions but i'm really nervous and this is my first time doing this.

Yea ask to speak to the manager dont tell them what for, then when he comes introduce yourself, shake their hand and tell them youd really love to work here then giv him the application. it gives a nice impression. in case theyre not there dress up a little you know business-like and hand it to someone else and ask them to make shure it gets to the manager . he/she will probably ask their employees what they thought of you so look profesional and be friendly.
