You are a minor, still in school. You don't want to earn so much that you owe money for taxes. So, get the current tax scale and see what is the minimum you can earn before you owe income tax. Incidentally, even if you work in someone's home, they have to pay social security and workman's comp. and report it to the government, at least if you are in the USA. You will want to start building up to 40 quarters of working so you can get your benefits when you retire. |
