What would be a good career choice for me?

Okay I know the field I wanna be in it's like movie making...not exactly filming the movie or directing it... more like choosing actors for characters and then working with the actors. Also what would I major in to become this...and what are some good schools for this? Thanks so much in advance!

Casting director. go to a school in hollywood, they always need more casting directors. plus, its hard to get fired. if somebody doesnt work out, YOU can fire THEM and pick somebody else

I would pursue a theater major, but also take classes in education and psychology. Most of the people pursuing a theater major will probably be more interested in acting, so there should be many opportunities for you to become involved in off-stage activities. Even if these activities aren't exactly what you are looking for right off the bat, they will help you develop related experience. You may be able to get a great start by working with childrens' theater programs, and then progressing to working with older children / high schoolers, and then working with collegiate actors.

I would suggest theater. If you are creative and study in New York. Because I think that would give you and outlet to Europe and maybe also a global trotter. Start now and take acting classes or try to be in every play possible.
