What type of careers do you rarely need hands for? Please help.?

I am asking because I have been going to school for years to be a Massage Therapist and now I think I have completely damaged my right hand (I am right handed) and now I need to start thinking about a job I can do in the meantime that I don't really need hands for.

Btw, I don't drive.

PLEASE HELP!

I think it depends on the severity of your injury. I'd avoid manual labour, so that includes trades and similar work. I would look into office work, where the extent of "using your hands" is typing. That can be things like administrative support or data entry which often offer part-time or contract jobs. You could also try things like tutoring or being a teaching assistant.

Also, depending on where you live, employers may be required to accommodate your disability to the extent that it does not cause them undue hardship or it doesn't violate safety policies. Look up the relevant employment standards in your region.

Does that include writing, there are plenty of jobs such as a receptionist, a sales woman, or you could just work in a shop.
