What to do for piercings and job interviews?
So I have my eyebrow and lip pierced and I have plugs. I was wondering how to hide them when I go to pick up a bunch of job applications tomorrow. xD I know I can just put a retainer in my eyebrow and it won't be noticed because my hair covers it anyways. I used to have a retainer for my lip, but I lost it and I only have studs and rings. =_= I've had it pierced since November, so I could probably take it out, but it's kinda hard not to notice a 14g hole in someone's lip. xD So any ideas for that?
Also, my plugs. They're 0g, so they're not easy to hide either. I was thinking maybe getting clear tunnels or something, but I wasn't sure how well that would work. My hair is pretty long, but I have a horrible habit of pushing my hair behind my ears. x.x
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated! =D

The best advice I can give is don't hide or attempt to hide anything. You go for an interview as a whole package. |

It sounds like you will be working the deep fry for awhile at Burger King. |

As a fast food manager I wouldn't even hire someone with gages to work my deep fry. Nah your gonna look cool with all the other tattooed pierced freaks in the welfare line. |

My views on piercings can be hard but thats not the subject here. You were brave enough to ask and I would say be honest. Go with all the studs and piercings that you have. Do not hide anything. What do you think will happen when very soon enough they find that out, or even during the interview when they see it they might ask you and see that you tried to hide it. You may or may not get the job but at least you would have been honest about it. |
