What should I wear to my job interviews on Friday?

I have 2 job interviews on Friday...

The first is at Urban Outfitters, and the second is at Claire's.

I won't have time to go home in between, so it would be ideal to wear something that's appropriate for both.

I have lots of cute tops including a super cute/trendy black one. All sorts of jeans including black skinny jeans and dark wash wide leg jeans...

So what should I wear?

I don't wear Urban Outfitters clothing, so I don't know exactly what kind of clothing they sell, but generally jeans are viewed as too casual for an interview. If you have anything dressier than jeans that would fit in with the whole Urban Outfitters vibe, then you should wear that.

If not, then I imagine either pair of jeans would be OK, depending on what the dress code for Claire's is. Just make sure that your shirt isn't too low-cut or see through or anything revealing like that. Sleeves are preferred over sleeveless, and a blouse usually looks a little more "interview" than just a tee. A boyfriend/schoolboy blazer over a cute top would look good, too.

And, as a side note, I don't know if I'd recommend pairing the black top with the black jeans. It's hard to tell without seeing the top, but it could be a little too much black for this kind of interview and for this time of year.

Edit: Hey! You figured it out right before I posted. Good luck on your interview!

I usually wear Khakis to job interviews, but if you don't have those go with a nice pair of jeans and a cute top. The most important thing is to look nice and put together...Good Luck!

I'm a guy so I can't say what you should where but I can say jeans are a definite no no. I just had a interview at blockbuster (open house 25 interviewed) and I got the job because I dressed like I was going to church. The interview also went horribly wrong. When the lady called me up she said I got the job because I was the only person that dressed professionally (showed I cared about the job).

Remember first impressions are everything.
