I applied last week for a certain position, and today for another one . Any ideas ?

Keep in continued contact with the hiring manager.

Inform them of your sustained interest in employment opportunities with the Best Buy chain.

Keep the name(s) of the people with whom you contacted and what you discussed. Aim to make your application STAND OUT in their list of applicants.

LEARN all you can about the Best Buy "model" of store philosophy.

Don't bother calling unless you're in a position to. Rather, show up there in person, dressed to impress and politely inquire to speak with the manager. Best of luck!
