What should I do as far as my job is concerned?

My boss is mean spirited woman.
She has kept me from being promoted in the company.
I ve applied for jobs in the company only to get nowhere.
Its temp parttime.
Friday she said what are you doing sitting there>
I said I dont have anything to do.
She said we'll we really dont have anything so we dont know how long we can keep u employed here.
She is very mean and says she'll make sure i dont get another job again.
So should i quit or stay?

Temp, Part time? It's pretty low on the to-tum pole as they say. Look outside the company for another job. Unless you make a boat load of cash per hour, I am sure you can do better. |

I don't see how her answer to your, "I don't have anything to do" is mean. She is paying you good money to do nothing? This is a good example of why you aren't promoted. An employer wants an employee who is helping make the company successful. You are not doing anything to that end. If you quit and keep the same work attitude, you won't be promoted there either. If you decide to stay, you need to get busy and become a great employee. Hope this helps. |
