What kind of Jobs are out there where you dont have to deal with a lot of people?

Im am a very sensitive soft spoken person and people most of the time cannot hear me. Ive been that way my whole life and even if I do speak up people cant hear my voice. Im 16 years old, and I was wondering what kind of jobs are out there for me where I dont have to deal with many people?

Jenn, you can look for jobs where you don't have to speak with people. A few ideas: learn sign language and work with deaf people, take a job where you provide IM-type "chat" support, do data entry.

That really limits your options, though. Why not consider learning to control your voice?

1) take singing lessons or join the school chorus

2) see if your school drama teacher can make some recommendations

3) join Toastmasters, a public speaking club. You'll get vocal production tips there.

You'd be better off to join a toastmaster's club and work on your shyness and softspokenness and change that, rather than sentence yourself to a life of seclusion.
