What jobs can a 16 year old do for the summer?

I'm not working straight after I leave school I am going to college, this will be a summer job just to get some money in my pocket - and maybe buy an ipad (:

First you must determine how you will commute to this proposed job. There are grocery stores, car washes, restaurants & many others that will hire someone for the summer. I good place to start is through a job search engine for example monster.com or career builder..there are a lot out there. Also check your local newspaper on line. Maybe you & your friends could work a self made car wash...just remember to figure in your over head & net pay after expenses. A lot of gas stations have car washes these days as well. Put out some flyer's in your area...laundry mats, gas stations, corner stores etc. Best wishes! And God Bless. |
