Anybody that employes you at the age of 14 could find themselves in big trouble. So it look's like school is still the best place for you, sorry but that's the fact's.

Well, then get up off your bum and go apply for those jobs. That's the only way you're going to find out if they'll hire you. Don't bother calling them. Anyone can answer the phone and blow you off for no reason at all. Also, it just screams lazy and shows you have no initiative. Better talk to your parents first and make sure you have their ok.

Most places won't even consider you unless you are at least 16. Some places won't unless you are 18. Sorry to tell you but you probably won't have much luck with employment except in individually paid jobs like babysitting or house/yard work until you are 16.

I agree with Holly. if you want a real job - why don't you wait until you're 16 - the legal age to work

You're 14 years old. people can't legally hire you until you're at least 16. plus it would be helpful if you could drive. maybe you can babysit or something
