What is the difference between "Job Description" and "Job Duties" on an application?

I am applying for a job and they ask for both of those. What is the difference between the two?

A description would be say what you were previously for example a shop assistant. your duties are what you did as a shop assistant,stack shelves and stuff.

Job description means the title of your position ex supervisor, teacher, police.

Duties are to describe the duties that you do/ things that you do under your position.
