What is a good way to say you left your job for a better one?

I had a horrible job...fast food place making 7.50/hr. Then I was offered an office job making $10/hr.
Its a no-brainer. But what is a good way to put that on an application where is says "reason for leaving"
I dont want to give them the idea that I will bail whenever a better opportunity comes along (even though anyone would!)

Tell them that you moved to greener pastures. they are human, they will understand. don't brag, just be factual. |

You can say you were looking to advance your responsibilities and felt the job was at a dead end. You think this new company offers are more stable work environment. |

Job applications are frequently gruelling - how should you fill them in? Should you chase them up when there is no answer? I suggest there's no true solution but the website in the box below has some brilliant instruction about this. It certainly helped me when I was completing job applications recently, also they have extra help on job seeking. |
