You should try to be a waitress if you are old enough. Not sure of the age in Michigan. If that doesn't work out, prostitution is always an option. =)

Definitely waitress. I worked as a waitress while in high school and college and if you are good at it -you'll make pretty good money - especially for a young girl with no degree. The key is to find a restaurant that has plenty of business. I worked at a family owned restaurant similar to Bob Evans. I worked every other weekend and made a couple hundred dollars that I was able to take back to college for spending money. The owner also let me work during my Christmas break and spring and summer breaks. I was able to make a 2-3 thousand dollars every summer!

My honest advise, is if you can be patient, try to find a job in a field you are thinking of pursuing professionally one day! Say you want to be in the medical field, maybe a nurse or just a medical assistant even...try to get a job at a hospital or nursing home. You could work in dietary, activity aide, front desk, there are a few options. It can be hard sometimes to get your foot in, but working in the field of interest, even if it's at the very bottom, will do wonders when you are submitting professional resumes later in life. An employer would be more likely to hire the person with 2 yrs experience as a hospital receptionist to be the new nurse, then someone who worked two years at Pet Palace....Again these are examples! Good luck
