Usually you sit in a circle, and the interviewer(s) will ask a question and then each interviewee will answer. Sometimes they go around the circle, sometimes they let you go in whatever order you want (so like, whoever starts talking first answers first). It's pretty straightforward.

I've had 2 group interviews, and this is how both of them worked.

Tips:

* Be confident, but not overbearing. If you don't go around the circle and it's a free for all as to who answers first, try to answer first sometimes, but not for every question.

* RELAX.

* Dress professionally. This will give you a leg up in case the other interviewees are not as dressed up.

* Speak clearly and slowly.

* Be concise in your answers.

* Listen to the responses of others when thinking about what your answer will be. You don't want to say the same thing as someone else (unless it's true and you would have thought of it yourself), but you can base your answers off others if you can't think of anything.

* Make sure you actually answer the question!

* Do your research on the company because there can be questions about it during the interview.

* Bring questions to ask your interviewers.

You are all groupies together

You are all grouped together sitting in a circle. You have to present yourself saying who you are, what skills you have (Say positive things). You will also have to describe what things interest you and what things don't.

That's what I did at Clarks show shop anyway, I'm not sure if it's the same.

We also got picked to go in a smaller group of 3 or 4. We were given a picture of a person and we had to search 3 different kinds of shoes that would kind of match the person judging the clothes they wear and what they look like.

I didn't get the job though.
