At work, it is expected that people will take things that they are not entitled to.

FFS - you aren't really serious about this question are you??

It sounds like one of those personality tests. It's asking if you agree or don't agree with this statement. I would advise saying that you "highly disagree".

First and foremost, the answer is NO!

This is a not-so-subtle way of exploring your attitude towards theft -- whether it's 'helping yourself' to silverware as a restaurant employee, or taking office supplies home (not just pencils and staples now, but things like expensive printer ink cartridges).

Many people believe that "everybody does it", or "that's just part of the job" -- kind of a side-benefit that's just sort of understood. Well - employers don't, and you can answer this question only one way: absolutely NOT.

"I'm looking forward to working here for a fair wage, and the satisfaction of a job well done - period. I wouldn't want to work in an environment where dishonesty, and 'side-benefits', were tolerated or expected."
