It's going to be really crappy for those without educations and those that have had poor job performance for the past few years.

Sorry, but that's the truth. No education and/or laziness at work will equal no job for that person.

Public services will be cutting back. I'd say police, government, hospitals, etc will all put a freeze on hiring new people, and jobs will be cut.

Banks and finance companies are also cutting costs.

If you're looking for a good steady job, apply for roles in debt management for major banks and financial companies. The logic is that if you think about how many millions of people are losing their jobs, homes and businesses, there are a lot of unsettled debts and loans not being paid... and the banks are desperate to get some of that cash back. I just got a job doing this, so I would recommend it.
