What do I do if I can't find a "real" job?
I've graduated from college pretty recently, and I've been applying, networking, and asking around about jobs in my field. However, the positions were filled by someone on the inside, they want someone with more experience, and some of the positions are less than ideal anyway. I really want to step out on my own, but there's no way I can do that with a measly cashier's pay. What can I do to get closer to moving out if I can't get a job in my field?

Be thankful for what you have. Look for something new or create your own job. I graduated from college and started my own house cleaning business. I did that for 15 years and THEN started using my degree as a teacher. I also work from home. There are lots of things you can do. Just be open to trying something different and getting out there and doing it. |
