If your partner gets a job he is expected to keep you all , he may be entitled to working tax credits, and you can get your child tax credit but thats it, unless he is on a incredible low income you maight be eligble for housing and council tax benefit of somesort, but you will start paying your way

Be a nurse

then earn way more than enough to pay back student loans.

or maybe be a military nurse, of high rank

If you apply for financial aid through you state you should be able to get more benefits. It usually takes in to account if you have children and your income, which for you would be nothing and other things. I'm not sure how much you can get but it is definitely worth a try. The financial aid I get allows me not to have to work at all and I am able to pay my rent so hopefully if you get that along with whatever money you get for your kids u should be able to make ends meet. It will be hard but you gotta do what you gotta do. You'll definitely have to cut down on some things and look for bargains wherever you can.

I think you should get Income Support because of having small children, but I don't think there are any other benefits that cover your situation, best thing to do would be to talk to someone at a Jobcentre, you might be able to get Child Tax Credits, but I'm not sure what the criteria for that is.
