Yeah pretty much...you guys will be in training next week... pretty much you go door to door and fill out the census form for the people who did not return it.

Enumerator (in previous operations, "lister" was also used, or "census taker") is the most common of the 2010 Census jobs. There are not really different levels of census takers - enumerators ARE the census takers. However, they report to their supervisor, a Crew Leader. There are also Crew Leader Assistants that help the Crew Leaders.

There are also office clerks, and recruiting assistants (whose roles are mostly over because recruiting has finished and the main hiring phase is upon us).

Each of these jobs required taking the same census test and completing the same application. Depending on how you view it, you COULD view these jobs as on the same level because they all had the same application process.

The first three jobs are the main ones that work to gather the information. They have supervisors they report to too, but the majority of the jobs are Enumerator positions. There is only one "level" of enumerator/census taker.
