What are the best successful careers for successful moms?

I recently posted a question asking what career is right for me. I am a college freshman and I would really like some direction. I don't know what I want to do with my life but what I do know is that I want to be the best mother I can be, while still having a job that involves some sort of degree. I originally thought I wanted to be a doctor but I don't think I could be the best mom ever doing that (although I'm sure I can still be a great mom) . I just want to devote time and effort into my family. What are some awesome careers that moms can have while still having an awesome family life?

I can completely identify with you. I am a college sophomore who's completely family oriented. I think a woman can choose any career she likes and make the best out of it. The point I'm trying to make here is that there should be a balance between your family life and professional life. If a woman is too career-minded, she is bound to overlook....well, I wouldn't say overlook, but she won't be able to devote her energy and time to her family, if she works extra hard in the office for the job she "loves". Then again, in times like these, you have got to contribute to the earnings of the family too, because the welfare of any family depends on the availability of enough funds to satisfy their needs and wants. Basically, you need to balance everything - and choose your career wisely - one that you like and will not regret or fret putting your efforts into, and also that will give you enough time and energy to have a happy and healthy family life.
