What are some cool jobs with decent pay?

Question A
I have 9 days to decide on what I want to go to school for, my original plan was sports management.. manage a profession sports team or something. Apparently there isn't much work in that, my second was to become a bartender.. takes a 2 week course to become that.
Now I'm screwed.. And I have to make a decision VERY SOON! Here's what I dont like in a job..
- Sitting at a desk 24/7
- Fixing crap
- Moving all the time
- Working in terrible working conditions
- Filling out mass loads of paperwork

Sounds like you don't mind working around people, you want a job that's not boring everyday, that pays well, and has good working conditions. If you want to go to a 4-year college, why not looking at Sports Medicine, Therapeutic Recreation, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Audiology, and/or Parks and Recreation. All of these are great degrees, working in good work environments, working with different people everyday (not same old boring thing), and have a minimal amount of paperwork. Think about it because Bar tending is going to take all your evenings away, will you like that? Think long term. Good Luck! |
