Walgreens job interview?

Hello! I recently got called by Walgreens for a job interview opportunity, and an electronic operator told me to enter in my zipcode, and I did, and they connected to to a Walgreens in my area, but no one answered so I left a message with my name and number and my interest.
I was wondering though, would it be alright if I could perhaps go to a different Walgreens that is even closer to my home, walk in, and ask for their manager and tell them I received a phone call about a potential job interview [for a service clerk] and see if they can set up an appointment with me from that point?
