Tips on writing a personal profile in a CV.?

Who am I?Who am I?

I did a search on Google but most of the advice is for someone with experience. For example it will give tips to write something like "... with 10 years experience in...". One of the websites said something like "if you have a lack of experience or skills then maybe you should consider applying for another job".

So I just need tips for writing my first personal profile. Its seems so much easier once you have some experience, but a lot harder for someone trying to get into work for the first time.

Im 18 by the way. I should have tried to get a job when I finished school, well, after my GCSE's. I went into 6th form and got EMA so I thought "I don't need a job because I get money anyway". Now I think that was quite silly because I still should have looked for a job just for work experience.

I asked this question before, but only got one answer. So im asking it again and trying another section.

A good profile should include 4 things:

1. dependability (emphasize that you're reliable, dependable, loyal)

2. experience (if you don't have work experience, include volunteer experience, internships, and temporary jobs with the same skills needed as the position you'e applying for)

3. Skills

4. Personality

For the personality part - since you're a new graduate, include a line like this:

"Highly dependable, enthusiastic, and very eager to learn." (always highlight your willingness to learn and eagerness to train or learn)

About skills - the skills you emphasize depend on the job you're applying for though and ONLY emphasize the skills most needed for the job. Now an example of what to include for skills - I'm not sure which jobs you're applying for, but since you're young & IF the job requires working with computers, emphasize your tech skills because most older people won't have as much knowledge as people your age, ex: "Up to date with the latest computer software programs."

About experience: If you don't have a certain years experience in a field, but you have some skills or experience doing similar work as a volunteer or intern, just write "Experienced individual in ________ (examples: office administration, customer service, retail, childcare, etc.) " By phrasing it this way, it looks like you DO have some experience but you dont have to include the number of years if it's very little.
