Thank you letter after interview...help!?
I had an interview yesterday and would like to send the employees I met with a "thank you" letter for their time. Unfortunately I don't have their job titles. I called the company and the receptionist said she can't give out that information. I searched for the employees on the internet and came up with nothing. I tried to contact the person at the agency that sent me on the interview but she never replied and is out of the office for the next four days. I had read that the letters should go out within 24 hours of the interview.
Is it ok to send the letter to the person without their job title in the address section? I thought it was better to send without than to not send at all. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Perhaps you can send the letter with a general position title such as "Supervisor" or "Hiring Manager" if you're concerned about getting the letter out without delay. |

Oh ya. Put yourself in their position. Would YOU care if it didn't have your job title? Now that you know one another in person, I don't feel there is a need to include their job title. Their first and last name should certainly suffice. |

Hi there, it will be fine to send the letters without the job titles. Job titles can change a lot these days, and or people are sensitive about their titles, so its wiser to avoid any mis intended offence (i.e. getting their title wrong) to send without a job title. |
