Letting a supervisor know, the next day they found out and surprise audited me, I was working with one of my coworkers the day I posted the difference, this person offered to count my drawer and I told the person that it is not necessary to be audited. I think she ratted me out, I was told that it is good to have a second set of eyes look at the difference because if the auditors meet you there in te morning and they audit you drawer and there is a difference you can get in trouble.

Was i wrong to not have someone double count not that i care, I am officially out of there and leave for college in a few weeks. It just bugs me, and a few days after they surprise audited me I was sent to work at another office for a week and that is where they told me that I don't have to come back since I gave my resignation.

You should have let a supervisor know that your drawer was short.
