Summer part time job help?

I live in the UK and I'm thinking of getting a summer job maybe at a supermarket like Tescos or Sainsburies or somewhere like Boots or Superdrug or maybe a grocery like Greggs.

I'm 16 and I will be going to sixth form next year but I would like to try to make some money ready for University. Does anyone know the pays for any of these jobs (or alike jobs) and hours of work?

They will all pay around £5.80/hour. Either go in store and pick up an application form, print one off from their site or you have to apply online (it varies from store to store). Dont get your hopes up though, as they dont really want part time summer people, theyll nearly always look for full time people wanting a long term job. Ive tried the past 2 summers and given up, the only way I make money is through leaflet distribution (which can easily be found for estate agents)

Minimum wage, which is $7.25.

and to apply you just go up to someone working and ask for an application. the only thing you might need to know is your social security number.
