JOB OBJECTIVES:
Under the supervision of the Chief, Personnel Transactions and Workers Compensation Unit, this position is responsible for maintenance of various personnel filing systems and assist in creating/updating manuals pertaining to Personnel Transactions. Specific duties of the position include:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
45% Coordinate, reorganize and maintain official personnel files, 624 hiring packages and filing system for NDI, Cat Leave, SDI, FMLA, Accounts Receivables, etc.
35% Using Word and Excel, assist in the updating of RAM Chapter 23, typing/formatting Attendance Clerk manual and roster assignment changes.
10% Assist in composing and preparing correspondence to employees regarding benefits and open enrollment and work with C&P analyst to update Personnel Transactions information on the Personnel portal.
10% Assist Personnel Transactions Manager with special projects and other duties as required.
Desirable skills:
Knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Word, Internet and use of office equipments.
