Currently i work at cicis pizza as the cashier / salad bar person. i dont work many housr i think im getting 15 this week. my managr is a jerk and the job is about 27 mins away from my house. but its a fairly easy job.

i have an interview tomorrow at spirit of the west. a resturaunt in a small town fancy hotel resort type thing. i would either be a hostess or waitress. but i heard the waitressing isnt that great.but it is closer like 5 mins away from my house.

should i take the waitressing/hostess job thats closer to my house. or keep my cashier job farther away and my boss hates me??

Go to the interview see if you get the job. If you get the job go for this new job since its close to home and you dislike your manager.

Consider these things

Do you the new place when you go for the interview

the pay

do you like the new manager

Seriously? Take the new job. Waitresses don't get paid much, but in a nice resturant the tips should be good. But definitly ditch the job with the loser boss. He's probably mad cause you have potential to do better and he's peaked already. Good luck and be safe getting to work. Most accidents happen within 5 minutes of your house.

I say if they give the job at the interview take that one its sounds better than that other shity job.

It really depends being a waitress isnt that fun. I was a waiter before at a high class restaurant and there was alot of work. Putting new cloths on tables going back and forth to each table making sure things are ok. Getting the food out on time and what not. Its easy but at the same time some customers make you want to quit.

If there is a chance to make better money or be closer to home. I would take it. Another thing to consider is that sometimes the job closer to home you may not make as much, but think of the money you save with not buying gasoline and the wear and tear. Life is too short to work a job you hate.
