Should I work at Wendy's or McDonald's?
I applied to Wendy's about a month and a half ago. And I applied to McDonald's shortly after. Wendy's called me to go for an interview on May 8th. Which I went to, and it went extremely well. May 9th, McDonald's called me to go in for an interview May 11th (today) which also went really well.
At the end of the Wendy's interview, I was told I would get a call some time in the middle of this week. At the end of the McDonald's interview, she said I would get a call tomorrow whether or not I got the job. The pays are the same.
I'd rather work at Wendy's, even though it's farther.
But I'm pretty sure McDonald's will call first.
If McDonald's calls, I don't want to be like "Oh, can I get back to you? I'm waiting for a call from Wendy's."
They obviously wouldn't want me working for them after that.
And I'm a student, so two jobs wouldn't work.
What do you guys think I should do?

Honestly mc d's. they have insurance which starts the day you do and normally are pretty flexible with hours and stuff like tht. i like wendy's food better but i worked at mc d's and had a consistent paycheck and benefits. it worked out for me until i finished school. but hell congrats on a job and not having any shame to work whatever you have to work. |

Take the first one who calls - the other may never call. |

If you get an offer and want to find out your other options first, just politely thank them and tell them you had already planned an interview that day and want to give them the courtesy of the interview - and you will call them back as soon as possible. They wont take back the offer because it's already been offered, you haven't rejected it. Do not tell a company you interviewed for what other companies you are applying to, its unprofessional. Look at everything before you make your decision..insurance, commute, pay, benefits |

This might be bad advice but hell i would do it..........if mc donalds calls first, but you really want the job at wendys. Take the job at mc donalds anyway and if wendys does call you back...quit mc donalds. |

I say Wendys, you arent a total loser at Wendys and its healthier, and probably pays more. |
