Give them notice. a no call no show looks REALLY bad on your future applications

Don't be a no call/no show. If you don't want the job quit.

Call them and tell them you are quitting and tell them why so they will know they cannot keep employees under these circumstances. No one wants to travel to a place only to work 2 hours. With gas prices, it really doesn't pay.

What I would do, is keep going until you have secured another job. Who knows what may happen? You could not get another job, this one may get better, but either way, it's a tough economy. I'd try to stick it out for a few more days. Something may happen to make things better.

But if you are set on leaving, go in, give notice. This way, you at least get your money for the four hours you have worked.. :)

No i wouldn't continue to work there yeah you should go to the place and tell them you are quitting because that is nice manners;) and then look for another job..cause it's not worth it.

I'm not going to advise you to give notice, as in "I'll keep working here for 2 weeks, then start my new job," but you should AT LEAST give them a phone call to tell them that you won't be back. A day or two notice would be even better. That is the very minimum decent thing to do. Do you want them opening the doors one morning to a bunch of needy children and be short-handed just because you couldn't pick of a phone? That is just so lame on so many levels, not to mention unfair to innocent children who are the ones who will really be stiffed by your actions.
