Should I quit my job?
It has been extremely hard to find a job since I graduated college in may of 2009. I worked as a seasonal helper for ups and hated it for the Christmas season. I now finally got a full time job as a store security officer. I thought I would love it and I did at first the pay was good the hours were not bad.
However I have been recently diagnosed with having Bi-Polar disorder and I am having a tremendous amount of difficulty with my anxiety right now. I HATE confrontation which unfortunately constitutes the majority of my job. I like the adrenaline from chasing bad guys but I cannot stand the anxiety caused by the confrontations.
Is this position just too stressful for someone in my current state?
I am on a medication however my diagnosis is only 1 month old and I have already been to the mental health ward once. If I did not have therapy tomorrow I would be there again.
I do have a college degree however I would really like to go back to school.
