Questions about Massage Therapy as a career opinions needed!?

I have been wanting to be a massage therapist for as long as I can remember. I love doing it because it makes people feel better and I think that it is a wonderful career opportunity; also I've already done some Research and have been told I'm good at it. I'm finally old enough to start applying for colleges and I was hoping to get some answers from massage therapists out there please. :)
Do you need to have a high ACT/SAT score to get accepted to a school of massage?
Is the course work difficult or interesting to learn?
Would it be beneficial to also get a minor degree in business if I am hoping to start my own business someday?
Should I enroll in a college and take two years of general courses?
I know that it is a lot of questions but I'm hoping that someone out there will be able to help answer a few of them, I really appreciate any answers or opinions anyone can give me!!

You do not have to have a high ACT/SAT score to get accepted to massage school. My massage therapist went on to be a chiropractor, but he did massage for about 8 years. He said the massage school training was not difficult to learn. It was a lot of hands-on training, working on other students. |
