Question about working papers?

I got a job application today and I need to check off if I'm "18 years of age on the date of this application" The thing is I am 17, but 18 in exactly a week. I think it would be silly to get working papers, and I would just send in the application after my birthday but I want it in as soon as possible so I could be hired.
What would you do?

Job applications are frequently tough - how should you fill them in? Should you follow them up when there is no answer? I suggest there's no definitive solution but the site in the box below has some fantastic tips and tricks about this. It certainly helped me when I was completing job applications recently, in addition they have other info on job searching. |

Just wait the week. this way you wont have change a bunch of things. once you hand in the application they'll have interview a few days after and call you about the job no more than 3 days. so just be patient. maybe until your birthday, you can babysit or something |
