Should I let the person checking know this right away?
When said reference is called, if not picked up the call will go to her answering machine.
Since that's the case, there is no chance of it being re-directed to another number

Yes you should immediately. This is also a good selling point to your interviewer that you are able to follow up on any changes and that you detailed oriented. |
