Please help on writing an email asking for a job?

I have done a project in a company this semester as part of a course. I thought to use the connection we have to send him a email thanking him for the opportunity and to post myself for future thesis subjects they might have (in other words, asking for a job).
What subject should I write to the email? Any suggestions? cause I think it might be something not so obvious of me asking for a job so that he actually wants to read it....
