I am working hard to become either a dentist or an actress/model which can lead to other things. However, I don't know which to choose. If I became a dentist, I'd be able to live the life I want to, have a good income, personal life, be happy, able to help those in need and still make something of myself. However, If I became a TOP SUCCESSFUL actress I'd have all of that and plus more e.g. a lot of money, go nearly everywhere in the world, fame, see things I didn't even know existed etc but on the other hand I would like to have a personal life, don't want to end up having a mental break down. I wouldn't like to have to look perfect/amazing all the time - e.g. I'd only wear makeup to go out to special occasions. And I'd hate to go to EVERY interview/magazine article or have my business spread around and worst of all resort to showing my body so revealingly. What should I do? I am sixteen by the way..

Hi , see you have interest in two opposite things........ but both needs allot of efforts.Become a dentist means 3yrs. of extra studies, if you are good in that then please go ahead, but if you really want to be an actress then you have to learn many a things, in which first comes control on your emotions.because in this field you will not get any shoulder to cry on your luck...and others are patience, hard work, confidence .an eye to choose a good person who can help you to introduce the modeling world ...as you may not get fame in your first shoot...many other things are there but you have to learn how to see the world with your own eyes and not with others. So good luck....... and choose the right path..........according to me become a dentist is really a good idea.:-)take care

Do whatever suites you. Being an entertainer takes time and energy. Being a dentist also does, but not as much as being an entertainer. Good luck!

Become a dentist. It is VERY difficult to become a top actress or model. Most people who try it and are even remotely successful are still not paid well and have to have other (usually low-paying) jobs. And, of course, when their looks go, they are done. You're much better off becoming a dentist. That is a normal job. And if you become a dentist, you'll have spent many years in college, so you will have options for what else you decide to do if you decide to change careers. If you are a model or an actress, you will most likely spend most of your youthful beautiful years trying to find work while you can get it, rather than going to college or taking a rigorous courseload in college. You will have many more options if you go to college with the intent of becoming a dentist (even if you change majors) rather than become a model or actress and struggle for many years and then have to take min. wage jobs because you never went to college.
