On a CV, what should you write with regards to your interests in reading?

All I have written is:

I enjoy reading novels and fantasy books.

Should I mention my favourite author or anything else?

I would say no.

An employer spends around 20 seconds reading a CV, they would have more interest in the skills you can offer them, than reading a paragraph of the books you're interested in. Keep it as short as you can, otherwise they will put it straight in the bin.

Nope. You shouldn't write about your interests at all. That's the sort of thing you put on Facebook, not the sort of thing you put on a resume.
