Nothing to do on work experience? HELP!!!?

I have to do work experience, and so i chose the public library as a last option as my first option (The Assembly) didn't get back to me..so..i was stuck.
First day today - one word - HELL.
I did NOTHING. i ordered some books, that would normally take me about 10 mins, but i spent all day doing them as they gave me nothing else to do. I don;t know what to do ..and i am really dreading the week.
I asked for more things to do, but the people didn't have anything to do themselves!

The only thing I can suggest is to stick it out. I know it will be boring but to be honest it will probably motivate you into a different career choice and make sure you never go down the library path. If there is nothing they can ask you to do how about making sure the books are in order or reading a book or a magazine? It will be a long boring week but if you stick it out it will come in handy on your c.v as you never dropped out and you can use it as customer service experience. hope you week goes by quickly :) |
