If they wear jeans at the job you're interviewing for, you probably could (I wouldn't but that's just me). Try to dress for the job, (uniformed jobs excluded), if it's a business office, etc. dress accordingly. |

Well, it really depends on what you are interviewing for. The general and good rule to follow is to dress about 1 step up from the job you would be doing. For example if you would be working in an office, dress business, at a phone job like telemarketing, or restaurant, dress business casual (nice slacks and blouse) If you are say interviewing for a cashier or fast food place, nice non ripped jeans and a nice cotton dress top should be good. Also make sure your hair is not dangling in your face or that you are to over done with make up. Also, when you arrive its ok to let them know you are nervous if that is really the case. Allot of times this helps ease tension between the interviewer and interviewee :) Good Luck! |

I've interviewed many people and jeans would be a no-no. Even if it's a casual atmosphere, dress one level higher for good measure. That way, if it's an office that does wear jeans everyday, they know that when a client comes in, you know what is appropriate. It shows that you're mature enough to understand appropriateness. I hope that makes sense. |

No. No jeans for a job interview. Wear actual pants with the blazer. |
