Need a few tips for my second interview at Earls!?

Category: Other

I had my first interview yesterday and today is my second one with the head manager.

1 - what should i wear? maybe a high waisted black skirt and white top with black flats? or black dress pants and some kind of shirt?

2 - what's a good answer for..."what is something you can improve on?"

3 - any other tips that could help me get the job

Thanks guys!

1) Remain professional. You want to wear something that is still appropriate though.

2) Be honest. What can you improve on? Stay positive though - do you have a time management issue that you are working on by incorporating a better task manager? Do you have a hard time with Microsoft Office and are enrolled in classes to learn more? Do you expect too much from yourself and get burnt out easily? What?

3) The best thing to do is to prepare. I hate to say it, but you're going to want to talk to yourself and look in a mirror as your practice answers. Avoid coming across as fake. Remember you are proving them them WHY you are a good fit for their company and HOW they can benefit from hiring you. Using examples of how you overcame problems are encouraged (i.e. when was a time when you went above and beyond? etc). Always have 3-5 scenarios where you can prove that you can handle even the most stressful situations. Your answers should be in three parts: The problem, your solution, the outcome.

Another thing - always send thank-you letters to the interviewers after you are done. Some think this doesn't work, but of all the jobs I've had, all of them were competitive. That thank-you letter gave me an edge over the competition because I applied myself just a little more.
